I found this image very appealing. I took it in 2006 while watching a local marathon. I saw this woman athlete in a wheel chair with a fierce effort but also with agony in her face. At that moment she was climbing a little hill, but after this place came the most difficult part of the whole marathon, about a mile long trail of big hills. This is the area in which most of the athletes quit the marathon and I can see in her face, the agony preceding that moment.
